Beginning of the story

An ordinary girl named Tohru suddenly startled by a man who could change shape into animals originating from the twelve zodiac (chiness zodiac). He must try to keep these secrets from the public if you do not want his memory erased. But dealing with them not as easy as thought. Each member of the twelve zodiac have pain that can only be perceived their own. In the anime Fruits Basket episode only made until 26, then in continue until his end in the manga.

Honda Tohru

Tohru is the type of person who always smiled when like anything. Tohru just living alone with his mother. And Tohru is very fond of his mother. Since her mother died in a car accident, Tohru was raised by paternal grandfather, and his home was necessary in the renovation. Not wanting to bother her friends, Uo and Hana, she lived alone and set up a tent. No thought, Tohru set up a tent on land owned by Souma family. It was there later, Yuki, Tohru invited to stay a while at home until the house is completed in the renovation of Tohru's grandfather. All members of the Souma family came one by one to see what kind of person that Tohru. Hatori was possessed by demon of the 12 zodiac sea horses, development of the revolution of the zodiac dragon. Hatori is a doctor specifically for the Souma family, especially to monitor the health condition Akito [head of the Souma family]. Hatori is also in charge erase memories of people who know the secret of 12 zodiac curse on the order of Akito Souma clan. Hatori never got around to getting married with a girl named Kana, but the marriage was immediately opposed by Akito, Akito raged until Hatori's eyes hurt. Souma Ayame

At the end of the manga, Ritsu started to cut his hair and try to be more confident. Ritsu highly admires and aspires to like Ayame. But directly contradicted by Shigure and Hatori. According to them, confidence Ayame is the least normal.

Souma Isuzu

Souma Isuzu often called familiarly by the name of 'Rin'. Rin was possessed by demon horses in the 12 zodiac. Rin is a cool person, but actually he is a person who cares. Rin dumped by her parents, and it makes the hurt Rin. Then Haru who do not receive the treatment against Rin Rin's parents, promising to maintain and protect Rin. Souma Azuma

Azuma is a person who nurture and raise Kyo from small, since the death of Kyo's mother. He is also a 'sensei' disebuah karate dojo. At first he just wanted to make amends, because as a child, Azuma feel guilty about saying things that offend his grandfather was [his grandfather was also possessed by a demon cat]. But over time, in the heart Azuma growing sense of love for Kyo, like his own son. Azuma is to maintain and protect Kyo so he did not get hurt. Azuma also is important people close to Akito.

Honda Katsuya

Katsuya is Tohru's father. Katsuya is a teacher who taught junior high school and met Kyoko there. Katsuya is actually not a desire to become teachers, but because his father ordered. Katsuya listen to heart honesty that says if the actual Kyoko, Kyoko just lonely and want attention. Then come to like Kyoko and Katsuya after Kyoko graduation, he took them to marry. Honda Grandpa

He was the grandfather Tohru. He isis the father of Katsuya . He is very loving and very understanding as what actually Tohru.

Uo is the best friend to Tohru. She is a gank member. Uo always idolized Kyoko [Tohru's mother]. After meeting Tohru, for the first time in his heart he wants to change the destiny into something better.

Megumi is the younger sister of Hana. Like Hana, Megumi also has the power since he was born. Megumi could curse the people as long as she knew the name of the person who wanted him to curse. Megumi is very fond of Hana, she always prayed for Hana was a good friend who can love and accept Hana is.
